The School of Hard Rock - Rattlesnakes

Named after natural climbing areas in the Niagara Escarpment surrounding Milton, the School of Hard Rock is our climbing focused program for youth development. During our regular program calendar is offered during the following seasons.

The next step for climbers is our Rattlesnakes program. New climbers will be introduced to climbing fundamentals and will gain an improved body awareness with every climb. At this level, we build further on our solid base of balance, stability, and climbing movement. Those that have taken the class before will progress to learning more advanced movements and skills. Climbers will learn when and how to apply all the knowledge they have gained, making climbing feel natural and problem-solving intuitive. Through goal setting with coaches, climbers learn to focus and increase strength, which results in achieving both personal successes as well as group success.
